The Master´s course has a duration of 2 years (24 months) and for foreign students we have a special option in which the student needs to live in Brazil for about 8 months for the 1st year and then, must return for a one-week stay in the 2nd year (to defend the Dissertation). In the 1st year, during the full-time stay here, the student will have classes (in Portuguese) one week per month and the rest of time will be dedicated to the laboratory and clinical experiments. Along with the Thesis, the student needs to publish 1 paper in International journals in order to receive the Master certificate.

PhD Program

To be enrolled in the Ph.D. Program, there is a requirement for a Master certificate (in any field, not necessarily in Endodontics). The Ph.D. course has a duration of 3 years (36 months) and for foreign students we have a special situation in which the student needs to live in Brazil for about 8 months in the 1st year and then he or she must return for a one-week stay in the 2nd year (to defend the Project of Thesis) and another one-week stay in the 3rd year (to defend the Thesis). In the 1st year, during the full-time stay here, the student will have classes (in Portuguese) one week per month and the rest of time will be dedicated to the laboratory and clinical experiments. Along with the Thesis, the student needs to publish 2 papers in international journals in order to receive the Ph.D. certificate.
